Defibrillators

Published: 25 June 2019

Recently a campaign was organised to raise awareness about defibrillators and their use and to raise money to purchase defibrillators for the main villages in the Community of Llandyfaelog. The Community Council has agreed to oversee their purchase, location and long-term maintenance; the Council has also agreed to act as bankers for money raised.

A number of organisations and businesses have already agreed to support the campaign by contributing money and a licence has been granted (Licence number : C17/2019) for a house to house collection in the Community during the period January 21st to February 23rd. This is an opportunity for all residents to support the campaign.

Some events have already been arranged and financial contributions whether in cash or cheques (made payable to : Llandyfaelog Community Council) can be presented to the Clerk of the Community Council, Arfon Davies (who can be contacted on 01267 267647 or by email at llandyfaelog@btinternet.com) or to myself, Geraint Roberts, as the licence holder of the house to house collection. Thank you in advance for your support.
